Sesame Street Secret

Tip Tuesday is in full effect again! This week our music licensing genius (and COO) Julius Robinson offers the following sage advice:

1. If you can’t reach film/TV music supervisors, try their music coordinators who assist finding music.

2. If a song’s performed on-camera by actors, it may need to be pre-recorded for lip-sync before film shoots.

3. A work-for-hire often means you’re paid upfront but forfeit full ownership of composition.
