Songwriting is an art and a craft and these writers know how to excel at both. They will tell you how they write, how they pick co-writers and how their songs make money. As for the panel they have co-written #1 Hits, TV Themes, Songs that have sold millions. Their songs have won Grammy’s, Steller, Dove and BMI awards. They have licensed hundreds of their songs into films and TV shows.

Bill Nash, started out in the music business very young as a part of  “The Nash Family Trio”, who recorded 2 albums for Columbia Records. Bill started his solo career on Mercury Records. This was the start of a bright career which sparked various TV appearances and some notoriety on the Billboard charts.  Bill was the first artist to record a song written by Kris Kristofferson.  An exceptionally talented songwriter, Bill moved to Nashville and set his next steps toward creating songs that would be recorded by other artists. Reba McEntire recorded a song that Bill penned with his wife Kim which became a top five hit single entitled, “They Asked About You.” The song was included in McEntire’s “Greatest Hits Vol. II,” an album that went to #1 and has currently sold over six million copies.

Barry Coffing has amassed a great deal of credits and awards with over 200 tracks placed in movies and TV, BMI Songwriting Awards, Multiple #1 hits and an Emmy nomination. He continued to be the voice behind the scenes in movies like Moulin Rouge, The Brady Bunch Movie & Winnie The Pooh’s Grand Adventure, He wrote TV themes for California Dreams, The Pyramid (Staring Donny Osmond) & The Heights. His song “How Do You Talk To An Angel” went on to become a number one hit and sell over 500,000 copies worldwide. Currently he is Music Business Entrepreneur who represents over 10,000 record labels and publishers for film and TV licensing. His company places hundreds of songs each year.

Grammy, Stellar and Dove Award winning songwriter and producer Billy Dorsey has already achieved more in his life than most musicians dream possible. As a songwriter/vocal arranger/engineer for the Christian Hip Hop artist Lecrae, Billy began his chart run of major success with his work on the international best-selling album Rehab: The Overdose, which went on to win the 2012 Stellar and Dove Awards for Best Rap/Hip Hop Album of the Year. Billy has worked on albums for Maino (Atlantic Records), Day26 (Atlantic Records), 2 Chainz (Def Jam) and others. Billy is poised for his first Grammy win in February 2013 for his work on Lecrae’s “Gravity”. Dorsey, also known as Billy D Lyrics, produced the second best-selling track “Higher” featuring gospel group Tenth Avenue North.
